    Keira Nightley, best know for her perfect pout and her roles in period drama films, is a British actress born in Teddington, 1985. She is married to James Righton and has two kids, with whom she lives in her hometown of London.

    Keira Nightley is sometimes called by her most famous role: Elisabeth Bennet, from Pride and Prejudice, but what very few people know is that her pout almost cost her this role, according to Vogue. Another of her films, with which I personally grew up with, is Pirates of the Caribbean. In this series of films, she does an amazing job as Elisabeth Swann and has a startling chemistry with her co-star, Orlando Bloom. While both these films are sensational, my personal favorite is Atonement, maybe because of the attachment that I grew to have with the character from reading the book; but all in all, her looks and her acting are simply breathtaking. Among other of her works, we can find Anna Karenina, Love Actually, Begin Again, The Imitation game, Official Secrets, Bend it like Beckham, The Duchess and she even had an appearance in Star Wars!

    Precisely, what I love about this actress is her versatile acting skills, one day she can be in the XVIII century sighing for Mr Darcy and the other in a far away galaxy wearing strange looking clothes and hats. Nightley is also a real person and, most importantly, a real mom and she is not ashamed of pulling out of a series or a film if she has to take care of her children, according to Elle. A curiosity about Keira Nightley is that she was placed the second highest paid actress in Hollywood (2007) according to the Forbes list, making her the only non-American on the list.

    All in all, I chose Keira Nightly for this report to find out more about her and I was not surprised when confirming that she is an amazing human being who is not ashamed to speak her truth whenever she needs to.
