Practice 1: The Writing process: Narrowing and brainstorming.

We were given two topics: Novels and cinema. We were told to write about one of them. Out of both of them I chose Novels.

        1. Narrow the topic
        2. Brainstorming (we can use whatever method we want)
        3. Gather the ideas
NOVELS

    1. Narrow the topic
    2. Brainstorming: Freewriting

I love reading, specially novels. Novels are the best way to tell stories because the only thing needed is a bright mind to write it and someone to read it. I love how novels can go into detail and films can't. I think the best plan to spend the afternoon is with a cut of hot milk and a great book to enjoy. Lately I've been reading a lot and I'm very proud of myself for that. This summer I read "Atonement", by Ian McEwan and it was my first "mature novel". Right now I'm reading the selection by Kiera Kass and I'm planning to read Jane Austen and The Bronte Sisters (all the novels I can). I think novels take time to read and that's what makes them special, they get to root in your soul and stay with you forever, never forgetting them. I also love how you can get to feel like the main character in the story, you get to have the same friends, the same family and live the same adventures from the comfort of your home or anywhere you want. Because yes, a book is something you can take anywhere, not like films.
