15. Dodie

    Dorothy Miranda Clark, born in 1995 in England, is an English singer and songwriter that popularized in youtube. Dodie is her artistic name and also how her youtube channel is called.

    Dodie's songs have helped me go through some of the worst moments of my life; they make me feel inspired, nostalgic, in love and they even make me think of my life and how I approach things. She has 3 albums (Intertwined (2016), You (2017) and Human (2019)) and in 2021 she will publish her first professionally produced album: Build a Problem.

    As a person, I think Dodie is everything that I would love to be in life: Chill, humble, caring and talented. Her voice is calming, relaxing and, most importantly, she uses it to speak her truth. She is such an underrated singer and doesn't receive all the praise she should get, that's why I decided to write about her today.
