20. Biting my nails
To bite one's nails contributes to their mental health since it is most likely caused by stress, anxiety or proven emotional problems. Furthermore, the more stress we are summited to, the more we bite our nails and, the harder it is to control the challenges that are presented to us in life. Also, under our nails, we have so much bacteria that biting our nails only opens the doors to diseases and viruses. All in all, it has been proved that to bite one's nails is more prejudicial than beneficial.
Nowadays an appearance is what interests more to society and little details like teeth or nails make a difference. Personally, I would love to be proud of my hands and that's why I am trying to stop biting them, but it's really hard; I even find myself with my nails in my mouth almost biting them and stopping myself. So, in summary, I am trying to quit biting my nails, but it will require so much effort.
