Practice 14: Edited version of an outline

     Today we learned about outlines and were asked to correct one given by the book: Academic writing, from paragraph to essay, page 69.

    An outline is like a scheme to show how the ideas work together; to do that, it is necessary to number them:

• Roman numerals (I, II, III...) for the main ideas
• Capital roman letters (A, B, C...) for more information
• Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3...) for details
