2. Life is hard and everyone talks about it

Life
/lʌɪf/ Noun
The condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.

Yes, as I said it. Life is, in fact, hard and the hardest part is that everyone talks about it.

I feel terribly sorry for the people that aren't able to see the positive part of life. For the people that just can't appreciate the fresh air coming through your window when you are reading a book. For the people that can't see how lucky we are to be alive right now. For the people that look at the sky and simply don't get fascinated by the whole of it.

Sometimes I really feel like I am different or like something is wrong with me because I don't really fit in society's cast. What I mean is that sometimes I'm too passionate, too childish, too imaginative for most people. They don't want to hear me talking about whatever little thing that I just saw. And it is sad. Very sad.

There are other times when I feel like there is something wrong with the other person. When I ask them to talk about anything and everything. They are not able to do so, they need a specific question to answer. I think this blog is a bit like that, I don't have a specific topic and I just write about whatever it is that I like.

Maybe this post is a little sketchy but I needed to express how I felt. How I feel.

And I'm not trying to say that I'm the "edgy", "different" girl. It's just that I feel like I see life in HD, full-colour, and most people see it black and white, which is not necessarily something bad, some of the best films are black and white but life is so good to complain about it. College is so good to complain about classes or homework. To work hard for something you want is too good to complain about it.

I think I just discovered the key to sadness and happiness. People want things instantly, maybe that's why they don't like reading books because you have to take your time with it. You have to focus on it. And it takes a special kind of person to do so. People nowadays want an instant pay raise or their crush to instantly fall in love with them. But that is not going to happen and it's foolish to think so. That is not what life is about. We are given a lot of time to let things mature, to let them come by when the time is right. So, if I had to say what the secret of happiness is, I would say time. Simply that. Letting time pass by, letting people enter and exit your life, letting the book get to an end and allowing yourself to start a new one. Letting death come by, letting life pass you by. And when you don't force things when you start seeing life in colour, that is exactly when you will realize that you found happiness and that it lasted more than just a moment, it lasted a lifetime.
