27. Cigarettes and life

I have always been disgusted by cigarettes since my grandmother has smoked all my life; The simple smell of them makes me want to throw up. Personally, I don't ever want to try a cigarette and I think the world would be better off without them, but now it is very difficult to try to eradicate them. I think that little by little society should be aware of its disadvantages and how smoking could kill you. This could be achieved by prohibiting smoking in public places such as parks, which could end with the romanticization of smoking that was created during the last century. Cigarettes are also prejudicial for the environment since they produce smoke that goes directly to the atmosphere and the products they are made of are extremely contaminating. All in all, cigarettes are bad for one's health and for the environment.
