5. Emily in Paris
Lately, apart from doing university, I've been binge-watching "Emily in Paris" on Netflix and I just loved it: The scenery, the outfits, the actors, the bilingual dub... Just amazing.
The show is about Emily (Lilly Collins), of course, who works in a marketing agency in Boston and, due to certain circumstances, she is sent to Paris to a branch office leaving her life and her boyfriend behind not knowing how. There she meets Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), her hot neighbour; Mindy (Ashley Park), her new best friend; and Camille (Camille Razat), Gabriel's girlfriend. In the office, she will have a boss that hates her and two coworkers that eventually will warm up to her.
To begin with, it was amazing that they combined both English and French, that is something that you don't see every day. The next amazing thing is that I was able to understand both with no need for subtitles, though I can only speak very little French.
Another cool thing about the series is the scenery. As I already said, it is set in Paris and the producers were able to squeeze all the cool spots from this amazing city.
