Practice 8: Descriptive and process paragraph

    Today we learnt how to make descriptive and process paragraphs; so we were asked to write a descriptive paragraph about instagram and a process paragraph about how to become an influencer. As always, we have to follow the writing steps:

DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPH: INSTAGRAM

    Instagram is a social network that aims to connect people through images and short videos. This social network is open to everyone, which means that it doesn't matter how much money you have or your social status, you just need an account. Instagram happens in every moment and every time since the users of this application are from all over the world. Most people use instagram to entertain themselves, to kill time while waiting for something or just to gossip about other people's lives. Regarding how to use instagram, it is a piece of cake; you just need to follow some people, scroll through your feed, double-tap the posts you like and, if you want, you can also upload pictures and videos of your own. All in all, instagram is the most used social network at the moment and it allows people to share images and videos with people from all over the world.

PROCESS PARAGRAPH: INFLUENCERS

    Some users of instagram have an insane amount of followers that cherish and respect their work, these users are called "influencers" and, even though very few people are able to access this modern job, there are 3 easy steps to become an influencer. Although this steps seem easy, becoming an influencer requires lots of sacrifices and hard work. Firstly, you need to have an instagram account with a catchy username and decide what type of influencer you want to be: Art, study, sport, fashion, humor, motivation... Secondly, upload quality content (such as images or short videos) consistently; a bonus to this step is uploading more content to your stories. Thirdly, you have to promote yourself to gain followers and sponsors; you can make this by asking bigger accounts to promote you or collaborating with brands. About this, you have to be careful not to post too many ads because people will get bored of you. If you keep working and coming up with original posts your account will grow and soon enough you will be a well-known influencer. In conclusion, being an influencer may seem easy and fun, but in reality it is a job for which you need to work hard in order to get the wanted results.
