19. Mika

    Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. could be a perfect character for a novel, nevertheless, that's the true name of Mika, the singer and songwriter that captivated the world with his song: Grace Kelly in 2007.

    Mika has multiple albums, such as Life in cartoon motion, My name is Michael Holbrook, No place in Heaven, The origin of love, The boy who knew too much, Dodgy Holiday and Songs for Sorrow. Personally, I have listened to all of them and I love every song, they are powerful and transmit a clear message of freedom.

Mika is from Lebanon but has lived in lots of places thanks to his father's job. As a consequence, he now speaks 4 languages fluently: English, French, Italian and Spanish. Mika hasn't had an easy life, his family didn't approve of his homosexuality and his last songs haven't had the impact that he wanted. Despite all of this, he is a strong person and has reinvented himself as a judge in The Voice in France and Italy.
