Films have always been an important part of my life, they have entertained me and accompanied me through my hardest moments. Also, and in words of my grandma, "TV has raised me". In a way, it's true, I have always lived far from my school friends (different towns), so I couldn't go to the park and play with them, so I watched all of the classics with my mom. And not only that, but films are also a way of scapism for the modern society, it lets you travel to different universes and feel like you are the protagonist of one of these films. That feeling can also be achieved with books, but when you are not in the mood a good film is just the right thing to watch.
Some of the films that I watched during my childhood are: Seven brides for seven brothers, Canción de Juventud, Parchís and the big winner: All the Barbie and Disney movies. Nowadays I feel like I have a more mature taste and like I have grown to like many different genres, such as romantic films, mistery films, action films and my favourite type: Historical films.
