34. What would happen if I left part II

Probably I would say that the night before I slept like a baby, but then that would be a lie. I would be awake all night wondering what adventures were waiting for me in my new destination. The next morning I would cry, I'm sure of that, then I would head to the airport, hugging my family goodbye and step onto the plane. Because I didn't sleep the previous night, I would probably sleep almost the whole flight. Then, I would step out of the plane and take a minute to remember the first time that I was completely alone in a new place. During that first day in the United States, I would for sure be amazed by the flags and the people; by the accent and the hurry that everybody seems to be in. That first day would be a day dedicated to the appreciation of my new "home away from home". I probably wouldn't settle in, I wouldn't unpack or try to decorate my new place; because that would mean that I had gotten accustomed to that new place may be too soon. I would walk and explore the streets of the new city. I would try to make some friends, of course, but that first day I would still feel lonely, so I would probably call my family and friends constantly. Once that first day had finished, I would arrive home, sit on the couch and gaze at the first-night sky of the many I would see in the months to come. And looking at that precise sky, with the big moon and the shiny stars, I would fall asleep probably thinking that I'm in my bed from Spain and that I would wake up to the smell of coffee and toasts from the kitchen. Everything would be the same until I realized that I was away from home and alone.
